Garage Interior Painting
in Olds Alberta
Turn unfinished garage drywall into a clean, bright, finished space.
Why Many Garages Are Left Unfinished
Many garages are unfinished with basic drywall work, that may leave you with a dark and unfinished space.
While the drywall may be fully taped and mudded, the surface remains porous and unfinished. Bare drywall tends to collect dust easily, show visible seams, and reflect very little light.
Painting the garage interior seals the drywall and transforms the space from a construction area into a clean, bright, finished part of your home.
For many homeowners, it’s the final step that makes the garage feel complete.

What We Paint Inside a Garage
Our garage interior painting services typically include:
• drywall garage walls
• garage ceilings
• interior access doors
• door frames and trim
• attic hatch doors on the ceiling
• priming new drywall surfaces
• finish coats for a clean, uniform look
Every garage is slightly different, so we assess the space and provide a detailed estimate before starting.
Professional Dustless Sanding Preparation
Preparation is one of the most important parts of a professional paint job.
Before painting garage drywall, the surfaces need to be sanded to smooth seams and imperfections in the mud and tape.
We use a professional Festool dustless sanding system that attaches directly to the wall or ceiling while capturing up to 99% of the sanding dust.
This allows us to properly prepare the drywall while keeping dust from spreading throughout the garage or home.
Many homeowners are surprised by how clean the process is compared to traditional sanding methods.

Garage Finish Options
Every homeowner has slightly different goals when finishing their garage interior.
Some people simply want the drywall sealed and protected so the space feels clean and finished. Others prefer a fully painted garage using a specific wall colour.

We offer two simple finish options depending on what works best for your garage and your budget.
Sealed White Garage Finish
This is the most popular garage upgrade. It brightens the space and seals the drywall for a clean, finished look using primer.
What it can include:
• Small drywall repairs and patching where needed
• Spot priming of repairs and raw drywall
• Two coats and full cut lines of white primer on the walls
• Optional ceiling priming depending on garage condition
Painted Garage Finish
This option gives the garage a more complete interior look, similar to the rest of the home.
Instead of just sealing the walls, we paint the space with coordinated colours and finishes.
What it can include:
• Drywall repairs and patching where needed
• One coat of primer to seal drywall
• Two coats of painted walls in a chosen colour
• Painted ceilings (optional depending on layout)
• Fill nail holes and sanding on trims
• Painted trim, doors, and frames
